Discharged in Australia in October 2002, the Maserati M138 Coupe was a four-seat roadster. Produced in Modena, Italy, the Coupe was fueled by a 4.2-liter V8 oil motor – provided by Ferrari – which had twofold overhead camshafts, four valves for each chamber, variable admission valve timing, dry sump grease and a pressure proportion of 11.1:1.

Transmission choices comprised of a six-speed manual (for GT variations) or a six-speed self-loader electro-water driven transmission (for Cambiocorsa variations). The Cambiocorsa transmission was controlled through directing wheel gearshift paddles and had four selectable modes: Normal, Sport, Automatic and Low Grip. Styled by Italdesign, the M138 Coupe was 4523 mm long, 1822 mm wide, 1305 mm tall and had a 2660 mm long wheelbase. Moreover, the Coupe had twofold wishbone suspension front and back. The M138 Coupe was additionally accessible with Maserati’s ‘Skyhook’ versatile damping framework which used curl over safeguards and six quickening agents (to screen haggle development); the Skyhook framework could then modify each safeguard as needs be.
